Location IQ was engaged by the Suburban Land Agency (part of the ACT Government) to understand the amount and development timeframe for a range of facilities within the rapidly growing Molonglo Valley region.
The Molonglo Valley is Canberra’s newest region, located between Belconnen and Western Creek. The region already accommodates 5,000 people and is continuing to grow rapidly. Wright and Coombs were the first two suburbs to be released, and works have commenced in the new suburb of Whitlam.
Our analysis assisted the ACT Government in understanding the scale and development timeframe of various retail and non-retail facilities to serve the needs of the growing population.

This information was used to inform the ACT Government in the planning and release of land in the Molonglo Valley.
